We are back from “Down Under” (Australia and New Zealand). I am still trying to get over jet-lag, a very real phenomenon. I should be all right soon.

We were glad to see the beautiful fall colors still on the trees when we arrived back in Central Virginia, but alas, it is November and the leaves have fallen off now. Our yard is covered in brown leaves which have to be raked or blown away. We do enjoy the trees and the shade they give in the summer, but I dread leaf-raking time. Here we are again. If you have deciduous trees, you know what I mean.

Anyway, Happy Fall to all of you and to those of you who helped in our trip, a huge thanks from both of us.
