VBS
In and Out of Alleyway
We helped in VBS last week, I with 1st and 2nd graders, and my husband with the recreation for the children. We were on site and ready at 8:30 a.m. and stayed with the children until the last on of my group was on the way home around 12:30 p.m. Then we came home to work on other projects, such as cleaning house, working on my photo albums, gardening, and other chores. Thursday evening we were back for VBS for Parents’ Night where the children sang the songs they had learned through the week.
In addition to this, we hosted friends from Romania Norm and Mij Busenitz who spoke to our congregation on Wednesday night. Next Sunday we will be presenting our work in a Global Outreach Conference in our area. This means getting our display up-to-date and ready to set up for a pictorial description of our work.
Every Wednesday evening is an exciting time as we meet with around 30+ college-age young adults to answer their questions on the book of Revelation and end time events. This group really has an interest in future events and excellent questions.
With school supplies on sale at various stores, we are collecting items to take to Vietnam for use in the children’s homes. If you would like to participate by purchasing supplies, let us know.
