Vietnam October 2007
We returned from Vietnam in the wee hours of Friday morning after a 33 hour trip. After catching a few hours sleep, I was at the dentist office at 10 a.m. to have my tooth expensively restored.

The notebooks, coloring books, crayons, glue, pens and pencils donated by Timberlake members and
others were greatly appreciated and will be distributed to several children’s homes. Mary B. with girls at a children’s home The medical
projects are moving forward after our meeting with local government officials, including a “party”
member. Medical clinics will enable the church to touch unreached areas of the country with the
gospel. We are now also certified as language consultants for schools teaching English in Ho Chi
Minh City. English students Dr. Wally Saunders was able to lecture at Hong Bang University on Business and
Marketing.
Perhaps the most encouraging area was the evidence of deeper personal relationships with government
personnel. So we could begin to share the basis of our ministry. These people need the good news as
much as any others.
