Pain and Recovery
Another fast trip to the ER on Wednesday, September 19, gave the surgeon a chance to look at the wound again. We are so grateful for the good care and concern of the personnel at Lynchburg General Hospital and the doctors we have dealt with. It has turned out to be a slow and painful recovery, still in progress.
We went back to the doctor a week later, and he said it is healing. The wound still looks bad to me (Mary B) but it is better than it was. The next doctor's visit should tell us everything is progressing nicely.
